I want to migrate from yvComments to JComments.
I just installed the latest version of JComments but in the backend there is no option to import data from yvComments.

Is there a way to easily migrate my yvComments to JComments?

Any help would be appreciated very much!

Hello Smart!

This is a great news! I have the same need of such migration for our new site. But I don't exactly understand what "PM" means? It sounds like the key!  Could you show us the link to find the key?  Or could you please send me the test, if convenient?

Thanks in advance!

All the best,
Xiangdian

orom, xiangdian: I send you link to current test version of JComments... Try it...

Note: to import comments from yvComment you need have installed latest version of yvComments, so if you use something older - please upgrade it before...

I'm using Joomla 1.5.11 and jcomments 2.1.0.0. I'd like to import from yvcomments. The version installed before was 1.23, and jcomments said "There are no compatible extensions for import process." So I uninstalled that version and installed the current yvcomments 1.24, and it said the same thing. Is there another version that was current when 2.1.0.0 was published? Am I doing something wrong? Do I need to apply another extension to import?
