Seems I know why... Try to make small modification:


1. Open file /plugins/jcomments/autosubscribe/autosubscribe.php
2. Replace:
Code: (php)
if ($count == 1) {
with
Code: (php)
if ($count <= 1) {
3. Save changes

I've released JComments Autosubscribe 2.1. All Joomla 1.7 and 2.5 users could update plugin via Joomla's update feature...

My site does not detect any new update for the plugin in.
I'll o that manually, but I though I should let you know about this.

Thank you for report! We have had some problem with access to of XML file for Joomla updater. I have fixed this and now all should work fine.

I just installed adsmanager 2.7 with jcomments (2.3) integration under joomla 1.5.26. Although I also installed plg_jcomments_autosubscribe_j15_v2.1 I cannot make ads creator gets new comments notifications automatically from other users as soon as ads is created - of course if ads creator subscribes manually, notifications start coming . Am I missing something? Is something else needed to get it configured? Thanks for your help

Big pluses using this module.

1. Great for moderation of articles.
2. great for maintaining discussion of viral articles
3. Creates a more sticky website.
4. User experience is improved

Problem.

Are users who comment subscribed to future comments?
Can people quote comments?

Please notice there is another bug in Autosubscribe that probably doesn't work anywhere except in com_content (Joomla articles) component:
[SOLVED]AutoSubscribe doesn't send e-mails to third-party component owner.

I will ask developers to have a look into it to add it to their fixes.
