Could suscriptions be avoid for articles created by superadmins??

Hello!
I'm using JComments 2.2.0.2 and installed and enabled this plugin. I created a new article from the scratch and added a first comment.
But no email was sent to the author of the article. What else is neccessary to setup. The manual email notification is working - so email in general looks good.
Does this plugin still works with the latest JComments version?
Best regards Frank

But no email was sent to the author of the article. may be your email and article's author email is same? or this is same user?

Hello,
I have installed JComments, K2 and this autosubscription plugin. Also, I configured JComments for the administrator to receive notification of new comments.
I created a new article and added a first comment. The issue is that the authors did not autosubscribe, and do not receive any notification.
Also, if I subscribe to a user manually, the system does not send notifications
Any idea? Thanks

Hi, I was just playing around with this component and have a question... It's all fine and dandy if I want a notification e-mail to the author of an article but... how about a vendor from virtuemart? I guess one would have to call the vendor class (or smth...) and get the vendor_mail by vendor_id but... I'm no PHP wiz and have really no idea how to get this to work Any help appreciated, Shh

how about a vendor from virtuemart? for this you will be needed to implement method getObjectOwner in /components/com_jcomments/plugins/com_virtuemart.plugin.php... This method should return product's vendor user Id by product's ID (you can see exampe of implementation in com_content.plugin.php)... Sorry, but I am not use VM so I can not provide you with some code

The plugin is not working with the new version 2.3.0. It's a really useful plugin. Can you make it work?

I've released new version of JComments - AutoSubscribe plugin. Download JComments AutoSubscribe 2.0. Note: this version is compatible with JComments 2.3.0 and higher.

If comments are not autopublished subscription will be created but notification will be sent when comment becomes published.

Notification was sent, but unfortunately subscription was not created Subscripstion will only be created if comments are autobpublished.
