Change location of component in Joomla 2.5

Hello,

I am trying to display the module identified in the xhtml page under <div id="jc"> blablabla </div> in another location than below my articles by default. It is apparently not possible to amend it from the backend (choosing a different location for the  display). Can you guide me through doing this please ?
Should I put some lines of code in my own template's index.php file ?
I am trying to display it in one of my template's positions, say "position-comments".
Is it at least possible actually ?
