I would like to know if the following is possible using Jcomments:

Assign a usergroup to a permission to change the option to post a comment in a specific category. E.g.:
2 usergroups: 1 registered member + 1 editor
The editor should be able to decide if the article is open for comments or not (via frontend panel). This is not a default feature, but maybe does somebody knows how to fix this.
