I currently have J! 2.5.4, K2 v2.5.6, and JComments 2.3.0 and K2 JComments 1.3.  I have K2 JComments enabled.

As I understand it, in K2 Jcomments you do not need to select a category.  Although I have imported a category of the same name from Joomla! into K2 and selected in JComments, it didn't seem to change anything so it is not set up that way at this time.

Where I want to put JComment the tag appears {jcomments on} as regular text and below that I have “Add new comment”  and that link goes to another page where the comment box and the ReCaptcha is.  At the bottom it says JComments so I would think that I have JComments working.

I want the comments after the article on the same page where the {jcomments on} is.  Obviously I am overlooking something well, obvious.

My page is ponchogarage.com/featured-pontiac  . Any help is appreciated.

OK maybe we can benefit future generations with similar issues if I have some help.

I had another anchor link with comments in the category which was making the comment link on the item page and going to a comment page.  That has since been cleared.

I can't tell from the documentation what version of php this plugin  needs.  Currnetly I am stuck with 5.2.

From what I have been able to ascertain, although you need JComments 2.3.0 installed, with the plugin you do not need to select a category.  Is this correct?

I first downloaded the plugin, and installed, then the JComments then installed.  Could this Order be a problem?

I have user-, system-, search-, K2-, Content-JComments all enabled plugins as well as the buttton plugins.  Should this be?

I value any assistance.

JComments tags like {jcomments on} are works in com_content only. In K2 extension you can enable|disable comments via item/category settings.
