Hello there,

Many congratulations to Smart and his team for updating this wonderful component to J!2.5.

I noticed that my visitors (every user who didn't logged in) can' t  see comments published on K2 items.

If I log in the frontend I can see all the comments.

You have to check K2 options for comments availability... K2 JComments plugin just replaces built-int commenting system but could not affect to visibility - so if K2 settings does not allow show comments for guests then K2 will not call K2 JComments plugin...

Hi,

I am having the same issue.  Which K2 options do I need to check?  I want "Public" users to SEE the comments, but only want "Registered" users to POST comments.

I have attached a screen shot of my K2 Parameters for Comments.

OK, I found the issue.  I had the K2 comments set to Registered Users Only, in addition to the same setup in Jcomments.

I changed the K2 comments set to Public, and left Jcomments set to Registered Only, and voila!  Comments are visible to everyone, but only Registered users can post comments.
