I have implemented comments' import from UdjaComments. So all users who use this extention while waiting JComments for Joomla 1.7 could easy migrate to JComments after it will be released! Stay tuned!

@Markus: thanks Wink

If you need another tester, I'm willing to do the job. And with me I won't release it to anyone else without your permission and if anything went wrong I would try to figure out the source of the problem.

Hi smart

Do you need a Dutch translator?

Will there be an option to show 2 or 3 of the highest rated comments in blog view?

Thanks

Yes, I've some new strings to be translated: Dutch translation (nl-NL). New strings for backend will be posted later because they are not freezed yet.

No, and in my mind this feature could be implemented by some separate plugin. I think that extension's core should contain only options which are must have for all... All other features should be implemented via additional plugins...

Smart,

I have been monitoring this thread for a while now. I have to say welcome back! My website does not have any comment component nor module due to me waiting on Jcomment. When should we expect Jcomment to be release to the users?

Thanks for a great component!!

I really like your component because  it was the choise for my needs.

@ciulerazvan: Thank you! I've sent PM with new strings to be translated to Romanian. This only frontend strings because backend strings is not freezed yet.

Some words about development process. For last week I've updated 6 translations (Polish, Italian, Serbian, French, Portuguese, Bosnian), updated 3 plugins (Zoo, EasyGallery, Poll), added plugin for JEvents and fixed 2 bugs. Also I have made backend constants review and I am going freeze them in few days. I have prepared small script for automatic generation of separate language packages for each language which are supported by JComments. And I have started reworking JComments modules (I want make them Joomla 1.5/Joomla 1.7 native with MVC support). So as I promised I working hard to release new version ASAP. Stay tuned!
