I have just installed jcomment 2.2.0.2 on Joomla 1.5.20.
I try to add some comments from the FrontEnd with or without login, but it just do nothing when I click 'send'. And I checked the comment is not being updated.

Please advise how to configure to allow unregister or register user to add comment.

I like to start using it and have the same problem. Yesterday I installed the latest version of Jcomment on Joomla 1.5.22 and have not installed the component listed above.

There are the fields to fill in, the captcha can not be changed and after submit nothing happens. It looks like there is no Java. Is it maybe because I have no Ajax installed? Today I have read about Ajax. Or can the template be the cause? Or another plugin? I am not that experienced with Joomla and extensions yet.

I just read about templates may be the cause: I use the free mont_blackpipes from www.mont-bit.com and have another menu on the right. (The author does not respond on the contact form mail though).Jcomment I like to have in the middle, just for a little unregistered responses to my product. You can see the template here http://www.joomla24.com/Joomla_1.5.x_Downloads/Joomla_1.5_Templates/Mont_Blackpipes.html and download it and test it..

I just picked a standaard template to test it with and then it's allright.

What do we have to change in this template please?
