Hi, I can easily translate the strings to Hebrew (and send it to you so everyone will enjoy it as well!), but i cannot test it because I probably did something wrong. Even though I stored the Hebrew translation files - it still show only English.
I guess I need to change the php or xml.
Can you guide me please?
Also, how can I change the text to be right-to-left?
Many thanks!
Amir.

Thanks,
I think I already figure it out - I had to put the translation file under the *root*/languages.
Could you please help me with the second thing - how do I make the text, edit boxes and all the rest of the controls to be RTL (Right-To-Left)?
thanks for you support.
Amir.

I guess from the dates on these messages that you mailed Amir the requested Information. Is there any way for me to get hold of this information, too? I have installed on a Joomla 1.5.7 Hebrew site the JComments component. I cannot get the RTL support active on the JC, as well as having translated the strings in an 'he-IL' copy of the 'en-GB' language files. I would really appreciate the help here. Thank you, Isaac

Hi, I tried to change the css to rtl, the area where you enter new comments came out fine, but ther area where you see previous comments is a mess. Did any one find a good rtl css for this component?

Dear friends,
I want to translate Jcomments and I put the he-IL.com_jcomments file on my root/language/he-IL.
It doesn't work.
Can someone tell me what to do?
Thank you,
Ilan.

Do you have Joomla's Hebrew language package installed and activated? JComments uses the same language as Joomla, so to use hebrew language in JComments you need have this language in Joomla too.

Hi Smart, Yes, it's installed and working. I also use the he-Il.com_jcomments on the language directory already translated. You can check my site at www.hitkadmut.co.ilThank you, Ilan.

I'm already finished new version of JComments and it contains some new strings. So please attach here your translation, I'll add to in new strings and ask you to update translation. After this I could send you new version for tests (BTW, it already contains addtional CSS file to support RTL).
