Hi,

When I install Jcomments on my all new and fresh Joomla 1.5.15 installation all modules on the front-end are excluded.

Search, who's online, newsflash can not be seen on any page.

When I uninstall Jcomments all my modules are showing up again.

Any idears for a solution or workaround?

JComments installation doesn't take any actions with any modules (standart or non-standart). May be you've got any criticall error then page loads and modules doesn't dispalyed. I've tested JComments with Joomla 1.5.15 and all worked fine.

Please try next:

1.  Uninstall JComments
2. Check permissions to folders:

/plugins/content/
/plugins/editor-xtd/
/plugins/search/
/plugins/system/
/plugins/user/

3. And install JComments again...

Hi,

I checked the permissions they were all 755

I tried installing jcomments agian but this time I had the following error:

There was an error uploading this file to the server
Unable to find install package

What is happening - I have been installing and uploading several timer before.
