Okay, I feel like a complete idiot because I can't get any comments to show apart from the heading 'Latest Comments' in the module bar.

I've only just installed the latest Joomla today, 1.5.15 and I setup the default sample site. I've added the JComments module, enabled it and asked it to use 'About Joomla!' section and the 'About Joomla!/The CMS' section. When I go to any of these articles theres no comment section.

I'm using the JA_Purity theme which, from following the other threads, I confirmed that the com_content/article/default.php file does contain the afterDisplayContent statements at the end.

Please tell me I've missed something obvious!

Cheers,
Terry

May be you forgot install JComments component or didn't select content categories where comments enabled?

Yep, I am an idiot. I was in such a rush to install I instantly downloaded the highest version number I saw on the screen and downloaded the JComments Latest module instead of the JComments component !

Just tested and it worked although where is the security code image coming from as it's blank? What type of image is it? Maybe my php isn't configured for it?
