Hi,

Hope you are all well.

I am still having the same problem (comment subscribers don't get notification emails when unregistered, autopublish-off users add comments).

I have tried to no avail to hack the code, etc and am still facing this.

Did anyone in this thread manage to get it to work by any chance?

It must be some difference in the code that is executed in autopublish-on mode, but not triggered in autopublish off...?

Yes, there is a bug. Seems I've described on forum how to quick fix it. Anycase in upcoming version it will be fixed in-box.
