Hello

I am using the old version of Joomla.

I have to upgrade it immediately and carry the comments from the old website to the new one.

I tried this with carrying the comments table, but after i transported these tables, i came upon with Turkish charakter problem.

Therefore, i must use another process, like exporting comments and importing them to the new website...

In this stage i need your help.

Or i need different ideas to implement it.

Search forum with 'migrate' keyword. There is topic with special plugin for com_migrator... I'm not sure about Turkish but we migrate many times sites on Russian or Ukranian and have no problems with charsets...

Yes i used this plugin when i was trying to migrate the whole website.

But, the JComments tables gave an error message and i couldn't start the migration process.

After that i was obliged to remove the JComments tables from the check box and continue the migration without them.

As I remember you need create JComments tables on the target site (you SQL files from JComments distributive)...

After i did the installation with the migrated sql, i came upon with this notice.

As you see errors tell us that table jos_jcomments doesn't exists. So you need create these tables before you start migration...

I solve my problem with manuel methods.

Note: The jos_comment tables are exists. Anyway,i want to thank again Smiley

you are mistakes - not jos_comment, but jos_jcomments table needed...

Yes i understand.

But i got this error when i take the migrated sql which is with jos_jcomments tables.

Then, i start to migrate sql without jos_jcomments tables and i didn't get any error.

I want to say again, i have solved my problem, but i am writing for who will come upon with this problem in the future.
