[Solved] Migrate form J!1.0x EasyComments to J!1.5 JComment - HowTo?

Hi Everybody,

i just found your wonderful Commenting-Component. I want to migrate my site from J1.0x to J1.5x. I am using EasyComments on my old site. Now on my Migrationserver there is my 1.5 version already running (in background). Now I want to migrate all my EasyComments to JComments in 1.5.
Naturally I can not choose any data from the backend to import. Is there a HowT where I can find how to do migrate my comments? Can someone give me a hint for this please!

At first you need install JComments 2.1 on your Joomla 1.0 site. Then you need import comments from EasyComments to JComments... And after this you need use migrator component (with plugin for JComments - see here: How to migrate JComment DB For Joomla 1.5?) to migrate your site conent and comments to Joomla 1.5.

If you have any problems with import comments from EasyComments to JComments, please specify version of EasyComments do you use... And Joomla's version...

thank you for your lightningfast reaction! I just did it the following way:
installed your component in my joomla 1.0x
imported from EasyComments (just a click, couldn't believe it!)
backed up the jos_jcomments via phpmyadmin from my 1.0x database
installed jcomments on my J!1.5x site
imported the jos_jcomment via phpmyadmin

That was it! So great! Thank you a lot!

Great, I got the same problem on some Joomla! 1.0 installations with EasyComments. I will try it.
