For Mosets tree component is possible that the mail is sent to the "owner" of the listing? It must work but I've not tested this feature with Mosets Tree because I haven't this extension.

Does anyone know if this will work with Sobi2? Right now I can't get it to....but maybe it's me.
Within the plugin parameters I've entered just com_sobi2 and removed com_comments. Although JComments is displaying and adding comments perfectly to Sobi entries, I can not get it to autonotify entry / listing owners.
Can anyone help nudge me in the right direction here?
Thanks,
Richard

@Richard: I didn't heard about any compatibility issues with SOBI2. I know at least 2 sites where this plugin works prefectly. But make sure you've read this topic - I've wrote some conditions. For example plugin will create subscription only then first comment to the object posted. If you alredy have some comments - it will not create subscription.

Hello smart, any news about restriction of current plugin? I converted other comment system to jcomment and, at current time, I have about 9600 articles (for 25 publishers) not covered by author notification. Anyway I do not regret comment system replacement, Jcomment is a great extension Kind Regards, Fabrizio

Exact. Considering Jcomment author plugin manages new published articles, using a "one shot" subscription method, via sql query, could be a good solution for any preexisting articles

thanks for this plugin, it is working very well, but i would like to avoid automatic suscription for superadmin, i have created some articles and i receive duplicated email, one from suscription and the other from component.
Could suscriptions be avoid for articles created by superadmins??
thanks!!

First comment here.....
I just install —> com_jcomments_v2.2.0.2.zip
This plugin —> plg_jcomments_autosubscribe_j15_v1.0.zip is still relevant?
I have many authors and they really need to be auto subscribe to their comments whithout any action of their parts....

Hello!
I'm using JComments 2.2.0.2 and installed and enabled this plugin. I created a new article from the scratch and added a first comment.
But no email was sent to the author of the article. What else is neccessary to setup. The manual email notification is working - so email in general looks good.
Does this plugin still works with the latest JComments version?
Best regards Frank

But no email was sent to the author of the article. may be your email and article's author email is same? or this is same user?
