Hi,

When I save (some) JComments configuration parameters, they don't want to get saved. I must go in the database to change the parameters (which I don't like to use).
Some will be saved, and some not. Some categories will accept comments, and not others.
I'm using JComments 2.1.0.0 on Joomla 1.5.9 (french version).

Do you feel what's happening ?

Thanks

Ask your hosting provider about using Suhosin on server? This error appears when some variables have values less than 400... Please ask him to check this variables:

suhosin.post.max_vars
suhosin.request.max_vars

The JComments settings section has about 350 fields and sometimes Suhosin's settings don't allow server accept such big form.

I have the same problem, can't save configuration... It saved only 13 sections/categories for comment, but after I tried to add all the other categories and after I pushed Save button, nothing has changed..

please, post your solution.

Why everybody with this problem must individually ask (beg) for solution and why it's not published on forum, instead sending in private inbox?

Ok, I'll try again: Please post your solution.

Because solution implemented in new JComments version and it doesn't released yet. This fix has so many changes that I couldn't separate them from upcoming version and release patch to 2.1.0.0.

So users who couldn't wait before release ask me and I give them testing build. If you want it - I'll send link.
