Funny, Jcomments is the only extension that don´t work with sh404SEF at my page.  Grin

But, i don´t care. Just hypothetically, if i would be forced to choose i would choose Jcomments and remove sh404SEF.
Jcomments never gave me a headake, but damn sh404SEF whole the time. It has big problems with K2, Sobi2 too)
People at many forum are writing that they get enaugh of sh404SEF and they move to AceSef.

I decided to give sh404SEF one more chance. It is new owner and maybe it will be as good as AceSef. (Guess only, had never tested AceSef deep. Just thinking about all writings at different forums)

Nothing specially. It allways worked as it should, without any problems. At least in my case.
Problem is that i have SEF links at whole site, except on a link to Jcomments.
I don´t have any sef plugin neither in sh404SEf folder nor in Jcomments folder.

If sh404SEF would at least have some absolute except option for extensions. Now i get link half SEF, half Joomla default. Something between, but it is working without problems.

I remember that i had found on Internet some time ago one working plugin, but cannot find it anymore in my HDD.

Actually something will happen. Because of coma "," in links browser cannot find (server cannot send) image mootree_loader.gif properly.

And that image (error) is allways at the top of things that influence page load in milliseconds. Whenever you click at some link that has Jcomments in. (I mean, 500 - 1000 milliseconds (1 second), just for a pitty small icon, is a lot too much)

I could not get rid of these comas in links. Don´t dare to change and test too much in sh404SEF admin panel. Had a hell to get it to work properly with Sobi2 and K2.

I don´t know even where that mootree_loader.gif come from. It is in Joomla media/system/images folder.

sh404SEF make links like this:
component/option,com_jcomments/Itemid,30/media/system/images/mootree_loader.gif

I found, and fixed, problem with mootree_loader.gif. It was Apoll module and its Ajax reload function when people make choices in a poll.

But why is sh404SEF so crazy to put media/system/images/mootree_loader.gif at the end of other links around.

And finally SEF on Jcomments (direct link on Jcomments extension) works.
So it was Apoll that was problem.

If someone would have same problem just put a "/" in front of:
 media/system/images/mootree_loader.gif
/media/system/images/mootree_loader.gif

Find by yourself what php file in Apoll module is. There is only few of them.

I don´t know why is sh404sef mixing links from Jcomments extension and Apoll module.
I notice also mixes in some other parts.

The sh404SEF couldn't use component's router to built links? I know that Artio JoomSEF uses it without any problems.

Few last versions of SH404sef are working perfectly with Jcomments. Just install and configure as you configure for others extensions.
