 Better to ask here before posting in Suggestions subforum.

Would it slow down too much comments and page loading ?

To have some intern (or extern as whois) database to check every commenters IP and show country flag under avatar, or instead for avatar ?

During one day I can post comments with Ukrainian, German, Russian and France IPs but all this time I will be sitting on the same place in office. My current IP depends on used VPN... In my mind this is not informative. More correct way is allow to users to set their country in their profile (CommunityBuilder, JomSocial or some other extension) and display this information in comments like we do this with avatars.
