Has anyone else experienced anything like this?

If I link from a front paged "add comment" Jcomments link, the ensuing article is mangled. I get debug code in the header and the layout elements all lose their proper dimensions. The content of the article doesn't seem to be a factor. I have a test article with text in it that does the same thing.

If I remove the "#comments" from the url it is corrected.

Also, if I hide front page add comment links, the plugin code is exposed in articles without a read more...

Example here: http://www.blanktv.com/component/content/article/37-premieres/155-qcrazy-glueq-by-fishbone.html#comments

Is my component just borked? Is there an easy way to determine? Also, will an uninstall of the component also clear my comments from the DB?

Sorry for the n00b questions.   Embarrassed

Sorry but seems I do not understand your problem. I've opened this page in FF 8.0.1 and do not see any issues.

Strange. I had thought it might just be a problem with my PC, so I did a ground up rebuild before posting this. On a fresh install of windows, and fresh install of firefox I see it.

What if you hit it from an "add comments" link from the bottom of one of the front page articles?

I haven't had any complaints, but I may be the only one in the company who would even notice the problem. Even for me, it goes away if I remove the #comments from the end of the URL.

I wonder if this isn't a networking problem on my end. Maybe something is getting mangled in transport.  Undecided
