jDownloads Categories

Yesterday I'm create simple module for displaying categories list from jDownloads. If some categories contain nested ones - it would be dispalyes also in next level of list. This module is available in two versions: Joomla 1.0 and Joomla 1.5 (native). You can download it from here:

mod_jdownloads_cats_j10_v1.0.zip (Joomla 1.0)
mod_jdownloads_cats_j15_v1.0.zip (Joomla 1.5)

This  module is released under GPL license and you can use it without any charges.

Hi !

Thanks a lot for this good JDownload plugin... It works great !
I would like to know how I could parameter it in order that it displays only the JDownload Categories, and not all the subcategories...
In fact, I have a lot of subcategories, so that the module takes too much place on the website...
Is there an option to modify, or what should I change in the source code in order to obtain this function ?

I would also love a modification to the module.
I'm going to have over 300 categories and when displayed will take my page down a great deal.  It would be nice to be able to select certain categories.  I would also like a number along side of category displaying how many sub category's.

Is this fees-able?
