Since JComments next version for Joomla 1.7 still is not released (I’ve read that it will come soon > December 2011), I was wondering if the developer will release JComments for Joomla 2.5 in the future. Because I think I’ll skip Joomla 1.7 upgrade from my Joomla 1.5 site and go directly to Joomla 2.5 (19-01-2012).

My question: Will the next version of JComments be working on Joomla 2.5 also or Joomla 1.7 only? If Joomla 1.7 only, are you also planning to come with an update in the future for Joomla 2.5?

Keep up the good work JComments developer!

Yes, upcoming JComments version will work on Joomla 2.5 as well as it work on Joomla 1.7. BTW, the Joomla 2.5 has same API and all extensions developed for 1.7 will work on 2.5 too...

Hi,

My component ; GMapFP works with JComment in Joomla 1.5.

My version for Joomla 1.7 / 2.5 works before any months. I have any requests for a comment function !
Can you tell me when you think published your Joomla 2.5 version ?

Otherwise, I need found another component !

Please, a response is important for all the Joomla community who used your component.
