Some advice... it would be nice to spend a few minutes every now and then (say every couple of weeks) to make a short announcement on how things are going... even if things are not going very well or very fast. This will benefit both you and the users of your products. Users just need to be informed on what's going on. That's all.
It will be easier for you because this only needs very little time every 1, or 2 weeks. You don't have to reply to all posts, you just need to keep us informed that you're doing ok, and still interested in the project.

I am in the same boat. I think it will be ready when it's ready though. Maybe I should just try updating it from the Joomla 1.5 version and see how it goes if it is going to be more than another day.
