Sorry! I was too busy with my main work. But all my free time I work on JComments. Now I already have JComments version that works with Joomla 1.7. But before release I must implement some functions to make update easier.

Also I've launched demo site with Joomla 1.7: JComments & Joomla 1.7 Demo.

We all are waiting since months and you guys even won't tell us when it is gonna be. Where is professionalism?
I do not know what to tell you... The JComments is developing and supported by one person... it is free and I do not get any money for it... I spend all my free time to make this extension more stable, more usefull, more flexible... As many other people I have family, work, problems... And I can not work only on JComments...

You can ask why I can not publish any news? Because this is not easy for me. English is not my native language and I can not write news on english as easy as on russian...

I am completly agree what this is not normal, and as developer I must inform community about development process. But last 2 months were very hard for me and I did not have any free time even to visit forum. Sorry...

But in any case I want to inform all JComments users that JComments for Joomla 1.7 already in testing stage...

Heh... I am answering forum's questions for last 2 months... I have already spent more than 3 hours and where are 8 pages of  questons still left... They will make me crazy... This is really bad idea to make such long periods between visits to the forum...

You should only answer important questions that can't be answered by normal people.
For anything other i would do a paid premium support, it's simply to much work answering all little forum question and coding a big extension like JComments.

could you release this alpha / beta version you already have working on that demo site you shared? it is very important for me! (even if it's unstable or not working exactly as it should).

Smart, Don't worry man!..Don't give a rat's ass to all those complaints..

You are such a nice guy..It is already incredible that you developed such a nice extension all by yourself without getting any support or any return whatsoever..

The new version will be ready when it is ready..Simple as that..People should show some appreciation to your efforts, and be patient..

I wish I knew you personally, I am sure you would be a good friend..In this world of greed, hatred, animosity etc. personalities like your are very difficult to find..

Cheers Man..

I have the developers respect on this one. I've had a time in my life recently where I had virtually no free time from school and such. So I'm pleased to hear that it's almost done, we all got to be patient just as we have to be patient with joomla's upgrades and compatibility upgrades with other extensions.

Smart, you could have just asked for volunteers. I am sure you would have got many. I would be willing to help you code in case you want. Although you seem to have completed most of the work but still if you need help in coding, please let me know. If I understand the code, I can also help you with support.
