Hi there!

I am using Joomla 1.5.20 and the latest JComments Component.
It worked very good until the last moths - but since yesterday I am getting an error if I want to add a comment:

He says that I have to enter a name (first required filed) and if I am logged in a dialogue box says that I have to enter a message. And this is the first required field then.

Any ideas?

I think this is a very common problem for all Joomla 1.5.20 users. I also started having this issue a few weeks ago. Can’t figure out what the problem is and how to fix it. And I am using the latest Jcomments Component too. A friend of mine who is using the same software is having this problem too. Ant solutions or suggestions on how to fix this would be hugely appreciated. I have been searching all over linkedin for hh gregg could you help me to find it. Hope someone will have an answer to this.

Seems I know why this problem is appeared and I have one idea how to fix it. Could you make small test? Try to disable CATCHA in JComments and post comment. I my mind it must be posted without any issues but if you will enable CAPTCHA and try to post comment with jHackGuard enabled you will got an error. Could you confirm this behavior?
