Dear JComments crew,
I am using JComments on a site where also an enhancement to the standard joomla frontpage is being used. The enhancement is called "Frontpageplus" (by GeoXeo). It adds a lot of options to the frontpage in terms of defining what articles from what sections, categories etc. will be displayed on the frontpage.
The issue is: With JComments installed on that site, the "Add a comment" link, which appears beneath articles, cannot be stopped from appearing on the frontpage (i.e. the frontpageplus frontpage).
For regular frontpages, JComments has a setting "don't display on frontpage", which works well.
So, do we have a chance to modify JComments in a way this setting works also with frontpageplus frontpages?
I could imagine that the job could be done by duplicating the relevant code in the JComment files, replacing "frontpage" with "frontpageplus", or so.
Do you have any advice if this would work, and where to look for the respective piece of programming?
Thank you, Kind regards,
Christian Geiselmann
