Hi,

I need to know how I can hide comments form after submitting a comment. Currently, since it's ajax form remains there after adding a comment / or displaying message etc.
My client is using moderation option before publishing comments, so he feels that the visitor may get confused to see the form there after he has submitted some comment, and in case doesnt see the message. So I would appreciate if someone can tell me how I can hide it on submission.

Another thing is, how can I show the CANCEL button for default form, as it is there for reply option. Here the idea is, if a visitor starts writing something and wants to cancel it he should be able to click the Cancel button, preferably to display the Add Comment link again.

Please help on this asap!

thanks!

1. I don't why visitor could be confused because after sumbitting form he will get a message that his comment would be posted after review. I don't see any reason to hide from because user may want to post more than one comment. If you strongly want to implement form hiding you'll needed to change JavaScript function (saveComment in jcomments-v2.3.js).

2. The Cancel button is used for canceling editing comment and unblocking comment (after user has started editing of comment the comment has been blocked to prevent any changes from other user - another administator or etc). If you want to have some button to clear comments form you can add it in /components/com_jcomments/tpl/default/tpl_form.php and call it as Reset (to avoid users to get confused)
