I have tested this option "Break up words with more letters than" but it never works the option "Shorten links longer than" wokrs without problem. And thx for this nice Script Cheesy

Could you show me example of comment's text where this function doesn't work? And specify JComments version, please.

I use:
Joomla v1.5.22
JComments v2.2.0.2
JComments Avatars v3.1
JComments Latest v2.5.6
CB JComments Tab v.1.6

Comment 1 (Not Working) =
AAAAAAAAAABBBBBBBBBBCCCCCCCCCCDDDDDDDDDDEEEEEEEEEEFFFFFFFFFFGGGGGGGGGG
If i copy this Comment from the JCommants field to a text editor then i get this:
AAAAAAAAAABBBBBBBBBB CCCCCCCCCCDDDDDDDDDD EEEEEEEEEEFFFFFFFFFF GGGGGGGGGG

Comment 2 (Working) =
----------1----------2----------3----------4----------5----------6----------7----------8----------9----------10

It looks like function works... This function inserts breaks (spaces) after each N characters, but it has special styles to hide this spaces from user (spaces allow browser to display this text as multiline).
