Normally unregistered user doesn't get to see latest comments from articles restricted to registered users - this is as it should be.

But if you specify more than one source in "latest comments" module settings ("components to display comments from"), restricted comments become publicly visible. What's wrong?

If you're using only one source, the JComments Latest module uses specific SQL-query for com_content. But when you set more than one source it uses common query that doesn't use any extension's database tables and it couldn't filter the result by the commented object's properties. At this moment I don't see any easy solutions (without affecting to performance) for this issue. But I've added this issue into my ToDo list and I'll try to solve this issue in nearest future.

Is this going to be fixed in the new jcomments version for j1.6 you're working on?

I still do not have any solution for multi-source mode because different extensions are use different database tables and different field names. I do not see any applicable solution without affecting to site's performance. But as I wrote before this task is added to my ToDo list and I am going to solve it.

This issue has been solved in JComments 2.3.0 and JComments Latest 3.0.
