Hi, first let me say thank you for this excellent extension.

I do have one question though: Is there any way to prevent URLs in comments from being automatically rendered as links?

Even better would be if I could disable this only for unregistered users.

You could disable this in JComments settings (Permissions tab, URL recognition). This parameter could be set per usergroup.
