add new comment dos not appear

hi, I´ve made some modifications to my template, just only to the frontpage to make it easier to read, to make this I´ve created into my templates folder the html/com_content/frontpage subfolder and added into it the default.php and default_item.php archives

the fact is that all is running well except for joomcomments that does not appear (I´ve been taking a look at the forum and I heve realised that the line <?php echo $this->item->event->afterDisplayContent; ?> appears and it does into my default_item.php archive, it´s the last line of the archive)

i´ll attach the files maybe it will help, thank you in advance

The afterDisplayContent event makes sense in Article view only so you need to check /html/com_content/article/default.php for it.

are you telling that the line must appear into default.php??

and I´ve realised that I have made no changes to this file, in fact there´s no file since the original components/com/content/views/article/tmpl/default.php is used insted
