Hi,

What does the System - JComments pluggins exactly does? My site has been down for Fatal Error Out of memory. My web hosting has increase the memory limit still we got the error. They have suggested to disable some of my plugins. So I have disable all the plugins from the Joomla backend and enable them one by one. The moment I turn on system - jcomments, I got the fatal error.

Will the comment system still works with this plugins disable? I really like Jcomments. Please advise.

This sounds like you've very small memory limit. For last 3 years I've never heard about issues with memory limit in JComments. I don't think that JComments system plugin causes this error but if you think so you could disable it. This plugin does next work:

1. Inserts JComments' JavaScripts and CSS into page header. But if it disabled these work would be done by component
2. Removes comments for article when article has been deleted from trash

So you could disable it and JComments would work without it.

So it is safe to disable it and Jcomment will work fine right?

Otherwise is there some kind of changes I need to do?

You could disable it and JComments will work. But if you'll remove some articles their comments will stay in database.

I think no. At demo.joomlatune.com I've only 32mb and all works fine. How many 3rd party extensions do you use?
