[Solved] JComments only appears on front page blog

JComment links show up as intended below articles appearing on the front page of my website, http://deutschtreffen.de/joomla15, but not on category blog pages, e.g., http://deutschtreffen.de/joomla15/index.php?option=com_content&view=category&layout=blog&id=46&Itemid=65. Am I missing something obvious?

The {jcomments on} and {jcomments off} tags work fine, but is there away to get the JComments plugin to work on articles shown on a category blog without appending {jcomments on} to each article? It is not something front-end users are likely to remember.

May be this is template-related issue? Try to switch to any default template and check if comments appear in category blog... And one more question - Joomla version?

I tried JA_Purity and encountered the same anomaly. It's quirky because JComments appear on another category blog, http://deutschtreffen.de/joomla15/index.php?option=com_content&view=category&layout=blog&id=1&Itemid=9, but not the one mentioned in my initial post, http://deutschtreffen.de/joomla15/index.php?option=com_content&view=category&layout=blog&id=46&Itemid=65, nor on this one: http://deutschtreffen.de/joomla15/index.php?option=com_content&view=category&layout=blog&id=35&Itemid=72.

What seems to be happening is that JComments appear only on articles from catid=1, unless I add a {jcomments on} tag to an article from a different category. Then JComments appears. It seems strange that the default setting for JComments is on for catid=1, but off for catid<>1.

Make sure that you've checked all categories in JComments settings. May be you've forgot to check some?

Thank you. I was too focused on the plugin settings, and overlooked those of the main component.
