how can I get the overall rating of a speciific article ?

What rating do you mean? JComments doesn't allow to rate the article. It allows to users to vote for comments, not for article.

Is there a way to create only one vote which will be the overall vote for the article.
I've a business index and i need to allow each user to review the specific buisness and vote for it and to show the overall rating/votes to the users.

At this moment I don't how it could be implemented. The JComments was created as commenting system and it couldn't be used as rating tool. May be in future versions I'll add such feature. But I can't tell when it could be implemented.
