Hi,

Plugin version v1.1 and k2.3

Seems like wither the plugin is not reporting any comments even though there are comments on the system and are published. Keeps saying, "be the first to comment".

Am I missing a setting somewhere?

Thanks,

Thanasi

It sounds like you've forgot to publish JComments K2 plugin. Or may be this is cache issue?

Thanks for your reply.

I have published the plugin and cleared the cache - issue the same...

BTW I'm on Joomla 1.5.20 if it makes any difference.

Thanks!

Thanasi

Ok so I've done a little more investigation, although not devled into the code just yet. I have found the what could be the issue. The problem only exists when selecting the user view options of K2.

i.e. if you create a new menu item and select the 'User' view or the 'Latest view' and use the user settings then the problem occurs with the plugin. The Category view works fine. :-)

So it seems there is an issue with those views and the way it tries to see how many comments an item has had...

If I had the time I would investigate the code, however, the project I'm on is time sensative and I will just have to use a workaround for now. If someone finds out what the problem is I would be very happy to here from them.

Keep up the good work!
