Count for images is OK, because i have popup activated. No comments for a single image.
But, why no number in Category listing. Nothing at all.

Hi,

it would be very kind of you if you included this update query into your update script, thank you!

Could you please inform us when you are going to release the next version of JComments? This way we will be able to offer the updates of our extensions on the same day.

I have detected another problem: With our module it was also possible to leave comments for the whole category (special case 'id = 999999999'). So you would have to add an additional query like the following afore the other one (or maybe it's possible to integrate it into the other one):

Code: (sql)
update `jos_jcomments`
set object_id = 1, object_group = 'com_joomgallery_gallery'
where object_id = 999999999 and object_group = 'com_joomgallery';

I have created the three necessary plugins for that and attached them to this post as well as a suggestion for the integration manual.

Regards
Chraneco

Hi,

I installed these 3 plugin. It works fine for details.
But for comments on categories have problem. In module, when we click on a category comment link, it goes to such an url "http://www.xxxxxxxxx/alias-not-found/alias-not-found#comment-90"

Any idea ?

Thumb up, and big thanks to developers of Joomgallery, for custom width and height of thumbs.

I thought that they will implement CSS (HTML resize) tweak, as they said. But is seems real PHP crop function.

Good work, Joomgallery is much more professional this way.

I would write there at forum, but i am not registered. I will find some time to write good review at JED.

As i know they read this forum, and i am not registered there at Jommgallery forum.

Joomgallery plugin for article images insert has problem with K2. It works in Joomla Articles, but in K2 it is some conflict with its JS scripts. (or something with mootools, admin backend)

You can maybe contact developers of K2 and fix it. Firefox says:
Error: tip.setStyle is not a function
Source File: http://www.xxxx.xx/media/system/js/mootools.js Line: 92

Tested several editors.

Using this plugin for some years now and did not manage to solve my issue yet (i could live with it).

This thread is pretty full of information and code specifications, so me not being a php guru did not manage if there is a solution to my issue here.

Here is my trouble:
I comments plugin enabled for individual images and image categories.

Whenever a comment is posted to an images category, and i get e-mail notification to read the comment, clicking the link brings me to a Joomla error saying that it is a private area of website, and i need to login, but i am logged in. This happens to all users.

I also noticed there is no a category title mentioned in the e-mail subject field.

This is how a link to a category comment looks like: http://www.principiuldivin.md/portal/index.php?option=com_joomgallery&func=detail&id=900000168&Itemid=69#comment-5863

And this is a sample of a category with comments: http://www.principiuldivin.md/portal/index.php?option=com_joomgallery&func=viewcategory&catid=168&Itemid=69
You can try to access an individual comment by clicking on comment number #1 and you will see what i mean.

Anyone encountered the same issue?
