Hello,
My version is 2.2.0.0
Everything is fine, but when I try to use quick moderation, the links on email message doesn´t work. Link appears like http://www.mysite.com/component/jcomments/publish/42/7335748bb054aef9dd8501b822d388b1

There is no folder like component (is components), or jcomments (is com_jcomments), or even publish.

Can you help me?

Thank you

This is not folder but only SEF link. It must redirected by your server to internal link and then processed by JComments. I use this feature to moderate comments on demo.joomlatune.com every day and it works fine for me about last 2 months.

I need more information about your site's environment. Do you use default Joomla's SEF or some 3rd party extension?

What exactly JoomSEF version do you use? 3.6.1 or later? And what Joomla version?

I've just tested with Artio JoomSEF 3.6.3 and all works fine for me. Comments are published, unpublished and deleted through Quick moderation links without any problems.

I've upgraded to Artio JoomSEF 3.6.5 and test with JComments 2.2.0.0 - all works with this version too. Why do you think that its doesn't work? Do you recieve some error messages?

Seems you need to describe me how to repeat your problem. Because I'm use Quick moderation feature on demo.joomlatune.com and some other sites everyday for about 3 months... And I've never had any problems with it.

I post a test comment and receive the email for quick moderation at the account that I have setup as Super Admin.
The Publish link that I get is:
http://mysite.com/component/jcomments/publish/4/12f4d88ec111b5e8fe1a11ac0b790026.html
However when I go to the link it displays my homepage.

No, it just takes me to the home page
this is the URL in the email (without my domain)

http://www.mysite.com/component/jcomments/publish/5/74278e22db51390a212366583258e137.html

When I click or go directly to this link it dispays my home page with no other comments/messages.

The url of the article is mysite.com/blog/category

Well, I had the same problem and solved upgrading Artio Joom Sef to 3.7.0. But there is some others possibilities to get quick moderation to work.

In Artio component you have the possibility to configure how it manage the SEF of all extension on your site. Go to Components --> Artio JoomSEF --> Manage Extensions, look for JComments and click on it.
Inside this configuration you have a option called "Handling". Just go testing one by one and add another comment to receive another link after change this option.
The last option is Don't SEF, in this case you will turn off SEF for Jcommens, it may resolve this issue but if one of the above options work is better.

Sorry for any English mistakes, but I'm Brazilian. Smiley

Is there a solution to this for those of us that are not using ArtioSEF?
