Hello there, thank you for making such a good program, I would love to see it working on my site, but I have the following problem.

Installed on my Joomla 1.5 website.

Enabled jcomment and set all up, the "publicar un comentario" link is there, I click it, post a comment but the "post" button redirects me to a /#  and the comment is never published, instead i got back to the main screen.

my website is this:

www.tecnogaming.com

Installed the last jcomments 2.2 from the website, just today.

What am I missing?

Thank you in advanced.

Oh btw, I enabled comments only on the "Novedades" link, i do not want to enable on the front page, until it's working.

Here it is what firebug tells me.

It seems the variable is not defined, although I did enable jcomments, I have no idea what could be wrong.

I don't see any problems with comments posting on your site. I've visited your site and leaved comment without any troubles. See here: http://www.tecnogaming.com/xbox-360/novedades-xbox-360/alpha-protocol-review#comment-43

Where did you see this comments?
I've opened page http://www.tecnogaming.com/xbox-360/novedades-xbox-360/alpha-protocol-review#comments and see there 3 comments, after this I've added one comment with text "test comment from smart". So I don't understand what problem do you mean.

BTW, you use JComments 2.2 but it looks like you've modified it (because JComments JavaScripts doesn't inserted by JComments code).

Very VERY SORRY about the delay.

It was all my fault, not yours, the site was custom made for me and the template for joomla purposely disables all plugins, I had to manually include jcomments and after that, it was working perfect.

As far as I can tell, this comments system is the best thing I've seen on the whole net, and I am really thankfull for that to you.

I can't post any comment.
Seems you've an error in your template because it doesn't contain JComments' JavaScripts files. It looks like you've some dummy code here: Can't submit comments

Thank you for the response. But I don't really know where I'm supposed to find this "dummy" code  Smiley

Check index.php of your template. Or attach your template here...

I think I can't attach my template here 'cause its a joomlart pro template.

And, in my index.php, I only have:
Code:
<?php
$tmpl
T3Template::getInstance($this);
$tmpl->render();

So, I found something.

I decided to come back to the officiel website and, in the description of the template, it's written:
"New: Inbuilt CSS and Javascript Compression"

So, I thought, it might be something to do with our problem.

In the template menu, there're multi setting:

When I put "Optimize JS" on "non", everything was fine.

But I didn't really understand this setting, and I don't really know the consequences of this option. In practical terms, what's going to change ? (except that Jcomments works now!   Grin )
