I have incorporated JComments and Custom Properties into an icon design review site for a client. JComments is the best alternative for the site - allowing comments on each article/icon design, a simple interface and the ability to notify multiple persons.
Because there are so many icons and groups of icons, each design/article is tagged using Custom Properties to enable us to view icons together in a group.
The problem is that when a tagged group of articles is displayed, we lose the ability to comment on those articles.
It would greatly improve the usability of the site if Custom Properties could be integrated with JComments.
