JComments not working with https

Hi there,

I've installed JComments Version 2.1 on my Joomla Website Version 1.5.

All works fine when the website is in normal http mode, however, when my users login to the website they are redirected to a secure https connection.

They are unable to quote and post comments whilst in this secure connection.  Upon clicking 'send', JComments does appear to try and post the comment (loading spinning graphic comes up), but then nothing happens.  The comment is not posted, the quote link does not work and my users are forced to log out and then post the comment.

Obviously I'd like my users to post in a secure connection because of their usernames, passwords and other sensitive information.

Are there any suggestions in regards to fixing this?  Is there a configuration file where I can specifiy https settings?
