"Can't find comment message!" Error

I had a comment added to an article on my web site. It was a SPAM comment, so I deleted the comment. But now when you access the article, an error message box pops up that says "Can't find comment message! May be it has been deleted or unpublished by administrator."

I did delete the comment - but why does this error message appear every time the article is accessed? How can it be corrected so the error no longer displays?

I think you open link from JComments Latest module. If you've Joomla cache enabled the module displays information with some delay. So it could show already deleted comments and you've click on such link.

Yes, that's the problem. Once the cache cleared, the error message went away.
