Hello,

Im using category blog layout, and no matter what I do, it only shows read more on the first article(the latest in my case) all the others article in the blog, doesnt have read more link. It works when setting the plugin to use joomla readmore, but it breaks in 2 line, so I need the jcomment readmore, but it only shows on first article.

can someone please help me out?

I fixed it.

Had to remove:

Code:
if ($this->getVar('readmore_link_hidden', 0) == 1) {
return '';
}

in components/com_jcomments/tpl/default/ tpl links

Hi,

First of all, thank you very much for excellent comments plugin!

However, I have the same issue as described in this topic. In Section / Blog view the "Read more" link is displayed only for the first article from the top. If the order is changed, the link is displayed for another article, but always for the one on the top, not for the rest.

Joomla 1.5.20
JComments 2.2.0.0

Joomla template I'm using is "JA Teline III" and jcomments template is "dark" one.
I tried applying the abovementioned fix for both default and dark templates: it had no effect at all on default template, in case of dark template a read more icon appeared for all other articles (linked to site's index page), though no "Read more" text-link.

So it pretty much looks like this:

http://img121.imageshack.us/img121/9672/readmore01.jpg
http://img820.imageshack.us/img820/9005/readmore0101.jpg

I would really appreciate your help. Please PM me for more details, if needed.

@helios: try to reproduce this issue with Joomla's default template. I can't reproduce it on my demo site (demo.joomlatune.com).

It's the same for default template. I trust you are a good guy, so I can send you login details to my site so you could check by yourself Smiley Perhaps this kind of problem remains for others too.

Open /plugins/content/jcomments.php and replace code:
Code: (php)
if (isset($params)) {
$params->set('show_readmore', 0);
}

There is no code that should be inserted, you just need to remove the piece of code that was mentioned above and save your changes.
