We just experienced a major bug with the Censored Words Feature.

I added a list of censored words.

20min later our site was down.

The server tech explained it thus:
PHP Fatal error:  Allowed memory size of 16777216 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 1139136 bytes) in /var/www/html/components/com_jcomments/libraries/joomlatune/template.php on line 361

We managed to restart apache and remove the list of censored words before another fatal error occurred. Then the server load returned to normal.

We are using JComments 2.1.0.0
php 5.1.6
Joomla 1.5.15
Apache 2.2.3
Mysql 5.0.77

This does seem to be a critical problem you should probably look at.

This problem isn't related directly to JComments. This is restriction of your server's configuration. You need increase value of available memory in php.ini (see variable memory_limit).
