Not sure if this is a bug or we just did not find the right button yet:

When someone posts certain characters, like "&", jComments does not entity them. We figured that our yesterday with our page being not W3C validated anymore. A manual edit of the comment in the backend, replacing "&" with "&" fixed it and the page would validate again.

same thing happens with "&" when its within a posted URL.

also, turning on email protection invalidated html.
