You need replace line:

Code: (php)
require_once(JPATH_ROOT.DS.'components'.DS.'com_content'.DS.'helpers'.DS.'route.php');
with same but from your component where MoofaqHelperRoute defined...

I am using FJ Related Articles http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/news-display/related-items/6195

I tried to integrate with the plugin method and had no luck. One problem I found is that FJ Related doesnt load content plugins.

I changed the code /components/com_fjrelated/views/fjrelated/view.html.php line 240

                // Process the content preparation plugins
      JPluginHelper::importPlugin('content');
      $results = $dispatcher->trigger('onPrepareContent', array (& $item, & $item->params, 0));

This seemed to loaded one plugin I use VOTItaly by (JOOMItaly)

Just couldn't get JComments to work.

I appreciate your help.

Steven, you needn't load content plugins to use JComments inside 3rd party extension because JComments content plugin will work only with com_content. See here: http://www.joomlatune.com/jcomments-developers-manual.html

I'm developing a component and one of the features that the users wanted is the possibility of integrations with JComments.

I've added this to my component but I'm unsure on where to send that information so that you can update the list of compatibility.

PS: Remove the lines below if considered offensive.

The component name is com_tracker and is a frontend to XBT Tracker. It can be downloaded from www.visigod.com

The next revision (currently 15) will have the support for JComments.

Don't forget to make plugin for JComments for supporting building links (more information available in JComments Developer's Guide)

Integration with JoomLeague would be very helpful  Cheesy But there should be comments for every league (project) separately. Thanks.

Try to ask about this the JoomLeague's developers? This would be more correct because in this case you will not needed to repeat modification every time new version JoomLeague released...

I would, but JoomLeague is not developed already. I have found on this forum, that you could make some plugin > http://www.joomlatune.com/forum/index.php/topic,309.0.html

Any update to that (for joomleague)?

There is already a plugin on joomlegue site
Code:
<?php

class
plgJoomleagueComments extends JPlugin {

public function plgJoomleagueComments(&$subject$config = array())
{
parent::__construct($subject$config);
}

/**

 * @return boolean true on success
 */
public function onMatchReportComments(&$match$title, &$html)
{
$app JFactory::getApplication();

$comments $app->getCfg('absolute_path') . '/components/com_jcomments/jcomments.php';
if (file_exists($comments))
{
require_once($comments);
$html '<div class="jlgcomments">'.JComments::showComments($match->id'com_joomleague.matchreport'$title).'</div>';
return true;
}
return false;
}

/**

 * @param object match

public function onNextMatchComments(&$match$title, &$html)
{
$app JFactory::getApplication();
$comments $app->getCfg('absolute_path') . '/components/com_jcomments/jcomments.php';
if (file_exists($comments))
{
require_once($comments);
$html '<div class="jlgcomments">'.JComments::showComments($match->id'com_joomleague.nextmatch'$title).'</div>';
return true;
}
return false;
}
}
?>

So far so good... it works... but on jcomments admin backend we can't see any title/link for which match this comment was for  Cry

Any chance to have a title/link to the match in jcomment admin backend?

Hi, any chance of adding the object_id to the jcomments module so we can select on that as well as the component id?

Many Thanks

SermonSpeaker does support JComment for a long time now, never saw this thread before Smiley

The plugin is attached and can be downloaded also from www.sermonspeaker.net.
Feel free to include it into the JComments component if you like to do so.
